Sealed a new tank this winter with RedKote. I have clear fuel line and my fuel has been clear so far. Gone through 3 tanks with no discoloration. I agree with above, something is wrong.

mine did it for a while. It wont hurt a thing. You use ethanol fuel? I read somewhere that the ethanol fuel will take the red dye out of the redkote. dont sweat it.

The high ethanol content in today's gas will take the color out of redcote. Says it on the can. I have 3 tanks with the same issue. No problems with the bikes. Been fine for years.

It can strip the color out of redkote or if you left any pools of redkote in there at all, a "skin" will dry over the puddle but it will not dry all the way through. Once putting fuel in it the bubble burst and the redkote in the bubble runs through. I did redkote and installed a secondary inline clear fuel filter to observe the color and also to provide an extra filter to protect the engine.
