We had such good times at the smoke outs. Hell of a great guy. Humble and generous even when we first met. The chopper scene lost a great man.

Fuck, what a bummer to hear this morning. I rode with Larry to the Smokeout from my house a few years ago, when he was on the Shovel he built for the Chop Off that year. A big group of us rolling up the backroads, just having fun on bikes. Nice guy and a great builder, glad we got to share a little time on the road together. RIP Larry Pierce.

I actually looked up to the guy and his girl. My wife looked forward to Dixie Danger's post on instagram, and i was looking forward to hopefully shaking his hand @ bornfree 6. Some people in life just do it right, Larry and his girl had something going we all know couldn't have been done by anyone else. After I listened to the chopper prophets podcast I was stoked to know somewhere out in Alabama was a dude tooling away towards something he loved. Larry and Ashley are have been in my wife and my thoughts since yesterday, this happened way too soon.

It was heart wrenching to see all the fun birthday posts from my Alabama friends one night, and the sad news the next morning.

Even if you didn't personally know Larry, you could see what a bright personality he was from his amazing Born Free builder video to all the hilarious pictures he took.

Losing someone in our small community is always extraordinarily sad. Losing Larry is heart breaking.

Take care, man. I'll play Dixie in your honor...

Wife got pulled to another floor and worked with a family friend of his. Wife said, of all the things she heard about him, what stuck with her was how person kept getting emotional when talking about having to go home and tell her eight year old kid.

    Default No-homo

Just a no-homo moment.....I've been a quiet creeper learning watching everyone elses projects, advice and problems. Its inspiring. I didnt get the opportunity to meet Larry, but looks like he was an all around badass. Not only with a loss, but with the majority being folks that anyone can lean on at times is pretty awesome. I'm glad to be part of such a tight knit group and look forward to meeting some of ya'll at Born Free and anywhere else these 2 wheels roll to. Right arm!!!!!!!! R.I.P. Larry
