Clutch Cable
Had a question about clutch cable differences. I have a 95 XLH1200 and I have put 1999 controls on it. I am in the process of purchasing a new clutch cable and am wondering what is the difference between a 95 clutch cable and 96-03 cable? Thanks

Think it would have to do more with end that connects to clutch being different than end on clutch lever. I would go to J&P Cycle website and you can put bike info in and get parts that match with both models.

no difference. clutch cable will interchange.
However, throttle cables will not.

Go easy when putting the new one in, they snap super easy where you thread into the clutch cover.
