Maybe it would be a good idea to put some info about the bike........ just a thought.
      Mag with a condensor?
Get in your car and count how long it takes you to travel from line to line. If I remember right, 3 seconds from start of one to start of another is 15mph, 2 seconds is 25mph. On base was the only place I was worried about it. Otherwise just run with traffic.

if your bike is street legal, it has lights. if it has lights, it has a 12v power source you can pull a speedo off of.

anyways, ive seen a small digital speedometer that has a pickup that glues onto your wheel that i hear is "fairly" accurate.

I hate the speedo on my sportster, i have considered getting an iphone dock bezel for my tank and getting some GPS app that has speed on it.

It's a bobber, they're all the same. Bicycle speedo is one of the easiest.

It's a bike that is SO bad ass and stripped down, that it also got stripped of it's manufacturer and all the other relevant information that once made it not cool to ride.

The Sigma with wires always work for me. The electric stuff seems to keep most wireless and real cheap wired from working. Most cheap ones don't read high enough.

Maybe you should get your facts straight before you try giving people a hard time. You're obviously thinking of a Chobber.

Again check out this thread http://www.chopcult.com/forum/showth...ht=speedometer it's pretty well covered there. But what I was referring to is that most older bikes seem to drive the wireless bicycle speedometers nuts and the Wallmart ones never work. There are only two or three brands that read over 80 mph.
