So been little busy but here is an update. New paint, new headlight. Some new Slims fab bars and King.Queen seat coming soon.

Can you comment on the DK relocation kits you used? Easy to use? Moving wiring around was simple? I just happened on their site today and got super stoked on using some of their kits to clean my ride up some. I'm on the road (semi-permanently?) so I'm limited to basic hand tools for now.

As far as the DK kits I'm looking at go: speedo relocation, coil relocation, horn replacement and tank lift. Which lift did you use? Looks like a good height you have. And did you get the deluxe version aka the rear lift?

I forgot to mention. I have an '03 xlh1200. Still have the 100th anniversary tank on it. Not in a rush to replace the tank with other changes on deck first.

Also, choice snag on your bike. Looks like you got a good deal on a very clean looking ride.

I used a lot of there Relocation kits, Horn,Coil, and the 2.5 tank lift. Reason i did the 2.5 is the bottom of the gas tank doesnt hit the backbone on the frame. and yes everything was very easy, every kit took about 10-30 mins to do. And i didnt do the deluxe version. wish i did cause my tank is a 2.4 and only can use about 1.8 of it because of the lift.

For your speedo relocation. On Amazon and Ebay you can get an Autometer tach bracket for like 15 bucks, they work great.

i did the 2.5inch lift kit. And on longer trips its so easy to take off if you want to use all of your gas tank.

Big changes/update

Lot of things has changed since last post.
Fender struts are back on
King and queen seat is killer
12in apes to actually fit me
Swapped out the forks for some 8 overs
8 overs are old 70s narrow glides that I rebuilt and shaved down

New Paint

Paint is def an art form and I have learned a lot. I was trying to get that crackling/bubble with the grey and it turned out awesome. Well i think so. i used mostly rustoleoum and then 2 part spray max 2K for clear.

Hah actually I changed the headlight with the new 8 over. No more boner headlight.
