love the front end. what made you decide on that specific front rim? did you use the spoke kit that wargasser sells to lace it up?

looking forward to the build....your caddy looked awesome

      Thanks guys.

On the rim, nothing specific. Was just looking for a super skinny 1.6" 36h instead of a 1.85 or 2.15. Vintage/NOS euro just seemed nicer than new China steel, so when I came across it, I pulled the trigger.

I did get the spoke kit through Wargasser though it comes from Buchannan's. You can actually call them up directly and tell them you have a Wargasser hub and they can sort you with the spoke kit. Sherm from WG told me that Buchannan's has their hub specs "on file".

Love making quick/dirty tools instead of buying them. Finally yanked this clutch hub off the transmission.

This explains why the bearing support plate was completely chewed up by a chain.

Some dummy put the trans sprocket on backwards. Flat side goes out, flange/recess goes against the trans not the big nut...

Man, I thought the sprocket would touch the lip on the trans if you'd put it on backwards, meaning you couldn't even rotate it when tightened.

                            Superbowl Sunday:

-mounted the tire on the rear wheel I laced up
-fork tubes changed out and done
-tank just propped up to get a feel for it

                            I'm diggin it so far..

Waiting on a rear sprocket and spacer to get here so I can do my driveline and rear fender already. Making bars soon too so I can push this thing around with the motor in it.
