Sorry to see that Jet. On a brighter note, the weather here today is nice and sunny, the last 2 mornings have been a bit on the cool side but the afternoons are jammin!

Exactly what happened after getting about 1/3rd of the way there, sitting on the dock of the bay for a few hours waiting on pick up and an 8.5 foot bike on a 7 foot trailer no less. I recall saying I'd never sell this bike... but after I fix the head gasket, I'm going to clean repaint everything and sell the shit out of it. Yeah I can hit 60mph in second gear and it's fun as hell, but first and last liquid cooled bike for me. Can't wait to pull the head and see what presents the now renamed "butter brick" has in store...

I had plenty holding my tent and bag down if he forgot some... but yeah "forgetting" them might have occurred if I had full coverage insurance on it.

What is the ETA for WTT? I'm 3.5 hours from Deals Gap and no way I'll make it there that early.

Perfect weather and the best roads in the Southeast, maybe the whole country. Thanks to Mike and Bill for putting on the event, good times in abundance.

Thanks to everyone who came out to this first annual event. We had a blast riding and drinking with ya'! We're already talking about next year's plans. This area is the best I've ever ridden. The roads were very well maintained, the scenery was unreal and the vibe was mellow and friendly. Next year, I'm bringing a fishing pole. I'll put up a few photos later this week. One guy we met was Jesse, who's been on the road since last April. Check out some pics on his blog here: http://twowheelin.wordpress.com/2014/05/05/sw2dz14/

Thanks again to everyone at Biltwell for throwing a hell of an event. I had a lot of fun meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones. And the riding? Spectacular!

Thanks again to everyone who came out. We're sold on doing it again next year. Hopefully, a different location where we all can camp together without sport bike nerds on children's dirt bikes pretending to be street bikes.
