              Update

              My tail light

               photo Tailight.png

This is 2 1950 pontiac tail lights bezzles combined with the glass, it will sit in my sissy bar mounted flush in a ring, you wont see any of the mounts for this light, im pretty stocked about it.

Started modifying the sissy a little bit, not done but its a general feel with the light installed.

               photo photo1-1.jpg

               photo photo2-1.jpg

Also started fabbing up my pipes, this is the second set im building, and i have found if your building a set of upsweeps to start from the back, get everything squared away and where you want it with c clamps and stacks of wood and then mock up your mounting tabs and bungs, then tack the bungs to the frame with the tabs bolted to them, after that tack your tabs to pipes, give everything a few good tacks and remove the c clamps and wood when cooled down. after this i bolt my flanges with about 3 inches of pipe welded to them and then fill in the middle with what ever bends desired

heres a few pics of the start of these pipes. ( dont mind the god awful tacks, the welder im working with at the shop is cheap, ill go back and reweld everything after mock up)

               photo photo5.jpg

Any ways, ive been kinda busy and havent got alot done, time to start busting ass and get this stuff taken care of

Heres another pic of the pipes, the lower bike is my buddy austy's. Its a kz650, we built the hard tail and have alot more to do on it.

                Saturday night update.

Removed the old liscens plate bracket from the sissy bar. Welded in some cut circular round bar inbetween the circles to the sissy bar and removed the old mock up mounts, Dont mind the crappy welds, flux core sucks dick!!

                 photo IMG_1105.jpg

                You get the idea,

And the pipes. My buddy and i built these on friday, there all tacked up and mounted.

                 photo IMG_1097.jpg

I wanted something with alot of bends and flow, to be honest building pipes for a bike is my favorite part of a build!

Now onto the the seat pan and building handlebars, then i will be pulling everything off and welding, sanding and prepping for chrome, then polishing the motor and time for paint, alot of other piddly shit to do but fab should be almost done.

Keep on choppin everybody, this shits just to much fun!!

Most up to date images on this build will be posted to instagram @Last_American_Cowboy

I am not trying to be a dickhead......but if your building pipes.....why is your "welder" clamping his ground to the springer while he's putting beads on pipes? Your getting the shittiest connection possible like that. That ground should be on the pipe he's working.

Thats entirely correct. Thats why when i welded the pipes the ground was hooked to them, i thought it would be a good idea to move the ground to the springer when i welded the light bracket onto it
