Don't want a lame looking facemask but tired of retieing or fighting a slipping bandanna? Try This on for size...
No try this on size literally... get the bandanna around your head with about 3 inches to spare tie a good knot in it. Now take it off and scope a spot you can slip the knot directly in the middle of the back of your helmet, mine has slots in the liner pretty conveniant for this helmet mod. Untie the knot slip an end through then retie it in a nice square knot (lays flatter) then slip it back behind the lining like so.
Now snap out those cheek pads and slip the bandanna behind them the top snap will not snap without mods or fuckification but the bottom two are just fine... no snaps? Then before you tie the knot in the back try slipping the bandana behind them then re-tie the knot in the back.
You now have a 3/4 cold weather helmet, that slips off and on with the bandanna staying put, you can either fasten under the bandanna for some air flow, or fasten over for a good tuck.
