    Default Northside Rigid

    Hey guys first post..
Im building an 89 evo sporty with a twisted choppers hardtail. I raked the neck to 36 degrees and am running a 21 out front, 18 rear. Going for a brushed/matte look. I have a small weld/machine shop I run out of my garage, nothing fancy just trying to get my own thing going. I have seen a bunch of cool builds and i'm throwing what I have so far up here.

Thats it so far, waiting on parts, plan on cutting the villain down and narrowing it. More to come.

Looks good. I have the same tank on my bike and was thinking about narrowing it up this winter.

After I put the HHI mids on it didn't look so fat but it's definitely too long. Might make it a bit taller to give the bike more of a stretched look.

Haven't done too much lately. Turned up some front and rear wheel spacers and got my rear caliper bracket stay done. Came out good and it's heavy duty. Also machined front rotor spacer out of 6061 to make up the difference from the narrow to mid glide.

Funny thing is, it was a good amount of milling with a few different angles going on and for the most part you will never see any of it, ha oh well.

Fender was a good 3/4" away from tire on both sides, took an inch out of the center..

Narrowed and shortened the villian tank. Rear fender mounted and cut & welded to match rim radius.

Your shop looks killerman. I'd love to have that frame jig. Looks like you are turning out some great work too. I've never liked that hard tail but hey it's your build. Keep on keepin on.

That's an awesome little garage shop man! I'll be following along with this one. You have any plans for that frame jig or you come up with it yourself? Been wanting to make something similar myself.

Thanks guys. There are prints on crimescenechoppers.com for the jig, I cut, welded and machined all the parts so it was pretty cheap to build.

Turned up a rear sprocket spacer to get proper alignment. Mounted seat bags and chopped up front sprocket cover. Making progress..
