May well be what happened to mine. I didn't mean to bash the company just something that happened to.mine. I was also putting a lot of miles on it. But on topic. The bike is looking good!

I appreciate it! I know this is a tough crowd on here, didn't think too many people would be into this thing...

Here's another quick shot from a different angle:

    Love your Bratstyle T-dub!

Funny, I had never seen(or paid any attention to) a T-dub until the IMS show Friday where the small size and huge tires caught my eye. I thought what a cool bike to chop down and putt around town on. After some internet research it seems like all the current trendy builders/shops have had the same idea and built some cool bikes.

I'm looking for one now to turn into something like this from Flakes!

Ahh yes I've seen that bike from Flakes before! The TW is a fun little bike and I've seen them modded all different types of ways, from Cafe Racer, to Chopper, to Scrambler, to Brat...I think they have allot of potential. When I visited Japan I was blown away by the amount of street orientated custom TW's I saw on a daily basis!

Akira, I've got a question for you. Is your swingarm steel or aluminum? For your rear shock, is it a shock or did you "hardtail" it? I'm asking because I'm thinking of turning my drz into a bobber type thing and I'm thinking of lowering the rear by replacing the shock with a solid piece, making it into a hardtail. I'm just wondering if the aluminum swingarm I have will live with a setup like that. Nice bike, btw.

This thing is awesome but I would find a shorter spring that worked and externally lower those forks an inch. Love this thing thou!

A 650 would be awesome! But believe it or not, this little fucker is pretty damn fun with full exhaust, intake, and jets! It's like a mini bike on roids!

My swinger is steel and powder coated black. As for rear suspension, it's the stock shock cartridge with a heavy duty rubber "stopper" mounted up top so that it's not a complete spine buster. My pals who helped me with the build came up with the idea. It was the only way we could achieve the stance I wanted. I've read up on a few old BMW cafe builds where guys would run the same type of set up in order to slam the bike. I don't plan on riding this thing far, it's for sheer fun, a little bar hopper. I've seen guys throw rigid struts in the back too...in fact if you take a look at the picture of the Crazy Orange TW that I posted, that bike is running a rigid strut...

Yeah, I still may attempt to do that down the road, but for now I'm satisfied. Style over function was the route I took with this little fucker...more mods to come...

Beautiful Fall ride cut short by what I believe to be some sort of air/fuel issue...perhaps shes running too lean...bummer, but I'll sort it out...
