I know this thread was a while ago but I have just found it while looking for inspiration for my Enfield build, I was going to build it hardtail but seeing this is exactly how I want it, have you still got the bike how do you get on with the rear suspension setup
Thanks Dave.Comment

The "rare Enfield" has Indian badges..And that "pod" behind the cylinder doesn't have a magneto mounted to it..so hopefully it's an Indian-made Enfield. Not much rarer than say Harley Sportsters...and certainly more common than Ironheads. Which is good 'cause you're not actually choppin' up a rare bike.
The bike may not be more than 10 years old. And parts for it are more readily available (and cheaper) than they are for some Japanese bikes of the same vintageComment

I'm a big fan of the Royal Enfields, always have been. I wanted one of the Bullet 500's soooo bad when I was in high school...you don't see them very often in the states.
You have a sweet ride man, and you gave it the perfect makeover to really bring out the lines. Love it. Treat it well and have fun with it! That paint is epicComment
