'80 XS11 wiring
So this winter I'll be rewiring a 1980 Yamaha XS 1100. I'd like to do a minimalist wire harness just for the ease of it all. I have a schematic, but I was wondering what I absolutely need and what I can cut out. Any and all help will be much appreciated. I'll try to keep pictures posted.

Just did my GS750 and I made a copy of my wiring diagram and whited out the stuff I didn't need. Also there are a lot of minimal diagrams on this site that will help with the wiring.
What you can cut out depends on the state you live in. MO doesn't require turn signals so I didn't have to have them but they do require a horn. Check your local regs to see what you can cut out and still pass inspection.
