I actually just bought a 2003 Dyna lowrider so I am looking for some inspiration as well, since I can't leave anything stock. Its gonna be a mix between the Japanese brat style and maybe some "club style" influence. More performance and function over anything else...but hopefully it will look cool. Heres some more pics I found.

Running A" THUNDERHEADER" is The *Smart* way to go for increased H.P./Low end Torque and an all around boost to the powerband in the 0 to 5k RPM Range.Simple ergonomics ad tunings will get you more power, less heat, better mileage and *IF* yer running an EFI Unit-a Power commander & The Thunderheader will set you right on the way to better performance.
*ANY* references to that assclown "jax" and that Major assclown show SOA arent worth a reply.

Sounds about right. I just remember because we were traveling and something fell off my buddies bike. He was buying the part so we could fix it in the parking lot and I was just standing around waiting to go outside. The salesmen were all over me trying to sell me their "sick bobber" I wasn't in the mood. I wasn't in the mood and it was pissing me off listening to these jokers.

This is its 3rd incarnation in its short 5000 mile life. Geezerglide rear air shocks, buell front end, powder coat, decals, Vance and Hines Pro pipe, a pig snout and a few more tricks on the way...

I suspect fuel economy and steering will be an issue with this set up. Very sleek though...

I like the wide glide between those two. They fxdwg and fxdl frames have 32 deg necks, where the fxd has a 30 deg. I also personally like the bobtail fender better. The wide glide feels bigger because the tanks are much wider. It depends too on whether you want to stare at a wideglide headlight or an eyebrow. The wideglide front has always seemed much spongier to me, but when you stiffen up a narrow front, the ride is harsh. (At least mine is).

I went the fxdl route with the bobtail. Going to dual discs made it a much nicer bike. About the only things left that came with the bike originally are the frame, gauges, and engine cases. It's not a "chopcult" bike, this one's been ridden in almost every state. 6 speed made real nice.
