Hi guys,
This is my first triumph. I had kickstart/shift problems a while back, and removed the outer and inner gearbox and all parts etc. I had to replace a shift fork and the ratchet gear pair. A bit overzealously but heck I wanted to know how things were in there.
SO my question is:
Is it possible to install all the gears/shafts/forks etc. if the mainshaft is still locked in through to the primary side?
All manuals and videos I have seen are on a completely disassembled bike....
Ive been messing around for a few hours and just thought I'd throw this out there, I'd rather not try to get this all in if the only way to do it is disassemble the other side. Thanks!
