    Hey all,

I need some help with compatibility on 35mm forks. I have what I was told are 86 FX 35mm front legs and sliders. My question is about different year compatibility. There is a 6 over set of legs on ebay right now but they are 75-84 legs. How different are these and can I make them work in my sliders?

If anyone has any info, please let me know. Since swapping tubes is a pain, I'd like to know for certain if I can make them work or if I need 84-86 35mm tubes. Dont want to have my front end apart for too long.

I also have an 84, crashed it and used my 84 lowers with 75-83 tubes.you just don't put the slide guide in . The lower legs are the exact same.

You have any issues with flex in the front end? I put 75-83 tubes in 84-87 lowers and theres a fair amount of play now.

I know its been a while but any chance you can give me some info on this? Did you need to use a different lower bushing on the 75-83 tubes? did you use the internals from your 84-87 lowers with it? are you still running them?
