A few threads on here on how to make one. Just did one with fiberglass pan and blue camp foam. Wasn't hard at all, and came out great. Had someone sew the cover.

^ x2 either cut out a seat pan from steal, make one out of fiberglass, pad it with Wal Mart foam then either cover it yourself or have a local upholsterer do it.

i got this guy, should be perfect for you. http://www.chopcult.com/JimmyBK/classifieds/53636/
otherwise i would try making your own seat, you can make it exactly the way you want it.

Man, here's what I would have done back in the day when I had more time than money:

    a) take the old seat off and pull the vinyl off of it (trash it)
    b) pull off the padding (save it to the side)
    c) take the bare seat pan and mount it; while looking at it from all angles, start to mark off with a Sharpie where to cut away of the pan to it skinnier profile...proceed to hack off with grinder/hacksaw/file/whatever
    d) take some spray adhesive (or 100 mph tape) and stick the padding back on.
    e) take the ol lady's turkey cutting knife and start slicing away the padding to fit the pan.
    f) take the finished pieces to an upholstery shop (preferably a ghetto one) and have them cover it for you.

All an all it should be cheaper than what it would cost to have one of those big gaudy seats shipped to your pad!
