Had a small problem with the kick gears ...
When the kick arm was at rest the gears didn't have enough travel to fully release ...
The spring was coil binding stopping the needed travel ...
Found the cure by using a Sportie kick spring that was of a smaller wire size .. No-Mo coil bind ...
A few bolts and a couple of gaskets, it be done ... Yippy-Ki-Yi-Yaaaaaaaa

Well how bout this shit ...
Went to order the top gasket from V-T ...
Look all over their cat for the p/n and couldn't find it ..
Found out they don't carry it cause it's a very low selling item ...
Only was made for a short run 79-85 ...
Called James's Gasket in the great state of Nevada (Close to where the Cartwright's lived) and got it on the way ...
Dang tranny been fighting me every step of the way ...
That little gem is the very last piece of the puzzle to having it all together ..
Wonder where "Hop Sing" ran off to .. ??
