Here's a pic from my current project. Got the fenders swapped out, new rear suspenders, taillight, turn signals and license plate relocation done.

Next is redo the hand controls, new scrambler bars, bigger rear wheel, new tires, and a little 2 gallon Peanut tank which is on its way.

Heres my rubbermount sportie, I'm debating doing 6 over front forks and raked cup/trees. What do you guys/gals think, would that be weird, cool, dumb. I'm kind of stuck with the tins, as its a special edition bike but otherwise I'm fairly free to do as I please. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

6 over will make it a completely different bike. i think it would look good. if it were mine, I would get away from alot of the flat black. but thats just my taste.

After a drunk ebay incident, i now own a set of wide firestone classic tires (balloon tires). Guna put them on tonight and see how it looks. other than that, and the fact that its a jap bike, any suggestions for a change?

I would replace the sportster tank with a 2.2 gallon axed chopper tank---then paint the tins (candy flake red)---just my .02 cents worth.

posted in the sportster forum, but here's a few pics of Braaapternoon Delight all polished up with some fresh spray paint on parts.

'06 883R. Still need to chop it but looking for somebody in the area to advise while I do it. I want it done right the first time na' mean?

And I just ordered some new Chris Products rear turn signal stand-offs from eBay. They're much shorter than the Sportster OEM stand-offs and are originally found on some Dyna and Softail models. It appears most of the later bikes come with the same signals so they should work fine. The bolt is different, though.

Did a 2" tank lift and somewhat decent wire tuck earlier this evening. Not bad for only about an hour of work.
