Thank you, I'm happy with the looks of the springer as well It's in the building phase now, in the winter I'm going to paint the frame black. Now I want some upsweep fishtails.

Looks like a nice piece of shit, MedicalCowboy. Are you going to keep those bars? What kind of springer?

Greetings from Sweden. My 2002 Dyna Superglide. Removed some metal and added a proper front wheel. Also changed to gear drive S&S .509 lift cams. Changed pipes to a stainless 2-1 after the pic was taken.

Next up is a thinner and prettier seat, that will still allow my wife to join without wanting to kill me afterwards.

Iím trying so hard to love this bike but whilst itís fun to ride and runs great I just canít seem to dig the looks. I donít wanna go wild as itís supposed to be a reliable year-round daily but trying to make it look a little better.

    Any ideas? (94 FXDL)

It may be just my sense of aesthetics, but I think just about any bike starts looking better when you start unbolting stuff. It doesn't look like you have a godawful amount of stuff to unbolt though, and you're trying to keep it comfortable and practical. You could probably lose the back rest, and maybe change out the bars. That would give it a different profile without sacrificing anything or making any permanent mods.

I like your bike man. I would get some shorter shocks, clean up the rear end (maybe a different fender/light set up and/or ditch the sissy bar), tough guy T bars or risers+drags, a 2 into 1 exhaust? Evos look tough when stripped down in my opinion you have a good base to work off of!

    It's not that cool...

What do I want to do next? Spoked front wheel, new rear fender...

I keep looking back at his bike. I LOVE the lowered tank look on this setup. So use to seeing raised tanks.

Default Finally got mine back together

I was scanning through this thread and got to see so many bad ass bikes. Couple of pics were no longer available so there's some I couldn't see. I ended up getting a set of 2007 zx10r front forks and a front wheel/tire from a Sportglide that I'm currently looking to get put on. Just need to find a hook up on getting some triple trees made up. Those things get expensive! Anyway, I started with a 2002 red and black Sportster XLH1200. Now it has a 240 mm rear wheel/tire from a softail breakout, 2 into 1 exhaust from a Sportglide (shortened up), and I powder coated it "Oh so blue". Needs some touch up work and will be getting the motor and some other things painted up soon. I hope this qualifies for a CHOP!

I love Low Riders... I have one myself. To me it's the color of your bike and the black mag wheels. Those wheels fit a black or red bike and I guess darker blue as well. Your bike is "lost" due to the soft color and black low rider "tough" accents (mainly the wheels).

You need to choose a side for the bike. Aggressive and mean or soft and sweet. The two look awkward together.

Here is a 94 FXDL black. Those wheels compliment darker color tins better

Change the rear wheel to a solid Softail wheel with a spoke front (soft and sweet). Maybe just change the front wheel to spoke and see how it looks. Or, change the tins to a different more aggressive color and keep the wheels you got (aggressive and mean).

A black 2 into 1 exhaust would toughen up the look too. Drag bars are my preference but handlebars are all about how they feel to YOU.
