I just picked up this 1966 flh with 45 deg at the neck and 9 deg on the trees, and 14 over wide glide front end. The bike runs good, not perfect but im cool with it. I think the stock flh tank and fenders look out of place with all the rake. I was thinking of a low tunnel small tank, but I'm unsure of what tank to use. Small sportster, King sportster, axed etc etc. As far as the rear fender Ive been thinking of the rogue rear fender that lowbrow has. Has anyone used it or got experience with it. Also can or should I move my top shock bolt forward 1 hole? This should drop it? It looks like most folks have, just getting a conformation. Last should I ditch the teardrop head light and side mount tail light that's on it, for a more period correct headlight and tail light? I plan on using the roth rattle bomb all in one to paint it, I had excellent results with it on another bike. Thanks for y'alls input in advance!

Starting to look real nice. That slim seat really helps to mitigate the awkward flattening out of the sportster frame. It is tending to draw attention to how big the king sporty tank is, though. It creates a little imbalance. If you want to keep the sportster lines, you might want to try to throw an OG sporty tank on there. I think it would balance things out nicely. You might have to do some wiring and re-make the tunnel to get it to french over your frame a little bit. Keep going. It's turning out nice.Comment

Was getting bored with my satin black peanut tank, so I tried painting some stripes on it. Not sure I dig it, though. Feedback?
Id like some 0given decals or possibly have an artist friend do some psychedelic stuff on it, but for now... What's this look like? Good enough? Or sand it off tomorrow? Haha.

nickey---an original design is always better than trying to make your tank look like an old Harley tank---my 2 cents.Comment

Thanks man! Got some gas drips on left side so I will be redoing it soon anyways. im thinking thinner lines will help too. And I'm gonna have to add some color to this thing. But for now she runs and the weathers nice so I can deal with it.Comment

Looks great as-is. simple and matches the look of the heads quite nicely! Great Job
