Makeover for the HD Street Bob

So I dont know if there was a dyna forum on here, but I saw another fellow Street Bob owner post his pics so I'll take the plunge too with pics of mine.

2009 HD Dyna Street Bob
Like I said...MAKEOVER, nothing major has been changed in the frame and or engine. My skills and tools are limited on how far I can go for now, so this is what I got.

Started with this...
STREET BOB DAY 1

Now we have this...

Future plans are to clean up the rear fender a whole lot better, remove fuel gauge and put a fuel sight tube, and paint job on the tank.

Good lookin Dyna man. A lot better than stock. But if you want to change up all that on the tank, just get a whole different one. You could get rid of the long dash and all. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who can help you with getting the fuel injection stuff in a different tank. But that's just what I'd do. Either way, I like the changes you have done.

Bike looks a lot better, the only thing i would work on that you already mentioned was that rear fender and i would ditch the turn signals and switches to really clean things up. Keep up the good work

I hate that big "Dinkus" wanna be Sparto... glad you got rid of it. Now sell it on E-bay to some fool for big bucks. Get a guy to make you a king sporty tank that you can mount a pump in... that would be tits.

Its homemade. I just used some pieces of steel from home depot, cut them up and drilled holes for the mounting. I want to get a steel rod and weld some spacers on the ends to serve as the mounting. Roland Sands has a piece for headlamps that I like, but its only for springers.

Nice look. Changing the tank will be an expensive project. Fuel pump plus these have a square backbone.

Kind of strange that you still have the stock air cleaner backing plate on there. Prefer bikes to get some motor work before making them look different, but that is just me.

Looks good.Keep goin' with it, maybe do a new air cleaner and a stage-one download to help with that new exhaust.Looks like your bars aren't centered and front turn signals are cockeyed a little bit.
