My plan was to address the tank over the winter but I had too much other stuff going on so that may have to wait til next winter. I can't stand it being apart during riding season, its my stress releaver. I haven't decided what I want to do with the tank yet either. Any suggestions?

I think what you've done/been doing works. Having a slimmer tank would just top off that front end. That new reliable, but old look is really nice on that bike. Keep up the good work! I think it's tit's. Makes me want another project.

Made some changes to the fender mounts and put a little more angle on the coilovers, then painted them up

I think a sporty tank or wassell would look bitchin on there, would go with your narrow front end. Like everything you've done to it. Front end with that spool is super clean. I'll be watching for how you address that square backbone.

Amazing job mate, I have a FXDB as well and a mate of mine would love to see me do something similar with mine.

Pretty much what everyone else has said: Nice work! There's a few empty lots in my neighborhood that need a home built on them if you ever need to move to Alabaster, Alabama... Not that I'd be over everyday learning/helping/annoying you... I'm just saying...
