How to post photos and videos to Chop Cult

Well, since there seems to be a plethora of people who are technologically challenged, I figured I will make this simple guide on how to post pictures and videos to Chop Cult.
First thing is first, how to post pictures:
Photobucket method: It's really easy, just go to Photobucket if you have one and copy the IMG tag

Now, to post a pic from the internet to Chop Cult takes a little more explanation, but it's easy. First, find the picture you want to post, by either doing as Google search (Or whatever search engine you prefer), the click on "images" in the search engine menu so it shows only the images that come up under whatever you were searching for. Now click on one of these images which should bring up the image or website it's posted on (If you use Google like I do, it will let you choose to see either the full size image or the website it's on, choose full size image). Now, right click and highlight the photo location in the address bar and copy it like so

Then, you will come back to here where you type your post, click on the IMG icon (The one with the little mountains on it and paste the address you just copied in there(Do this by right clicking after the IMG code box comes up and hit paste) like so then click okay to post the image:

Then when you hit submit reply, your picture should show up like so:

The third way is to post your pics directly to Chop Cult using the manage attachments option. Just scroll down once you bring up the reply box and you'll see a button that says "Manage Attachments". Click on that and it will bring up a little page that will let you load pics directly from your computer. Now, make sure your picture you want to upload is a .jpg or .gif file, or it won't work. Easy as cake.

To post a video from Youtube, etc. you want to find the HTML tag and copy and post that here. This is the HTML tag:

Once you post it here to the forum, your video will show up after you hit submit reply, like so, but for some reason it won't show up in this thread

No problem Bill. I do this on just about every forum I'm on because people can't figure out how to load pics. It's not rocket surgery, and after a few times it becomes dedicated to memory.

Introduction???

When I click on the link for intros, all I get is the last intro of the last introduction. Nowhere on the page is there a "start a new thread".

I'm perplexed. This board must require an IQ of 60 or above because I'm struggling here.

Words of wisdom?

Frog, just add your intro to that thread. It'll be the latest one until another noob comes along.

OK - I've been struggling with this photo uploading thing for weeks. No fault of any of you very helpful folks either - just an old grey beard tryin' to learn new tricks. Hooligan's 3rd method actually sounds the most simple so I'm gonna give it a try.....

So how does one post up a link to a website or a blog or a certain page of a blog or website?

Sorry Mods - didn't mean to hijack the How to Upload Photos thread. Perhaps this question is deserving of a spot of it's own among the other "How do I..." topics?

The last three letter after the . of the file has to be jpg or gif, so it should be .jpg or .gif in order to upload to Photobucket
