Follow these steps carefully and you'll end up with big photos in your bike, how-to, or hot babe thread. Here's how those big photos will look on your new thread:

Hope this helps. If you know more or faster ways to do this, please feel free to add onto this thread. This is the way I do it, but I'm sure it's far from perfect.

Good luck and have fun!

I use the [IMG] method

Works fine, too.

Or you can always click the little yellow box with the mountain on it at the top of the reply box to add an image.

Yeah, but how do we upload big pics to our profile page? All the pics on my computer are too big to put in my profile album.

I think easier yet...

I use "Irfan View" to mess with my photos. I've been using it for years, it is downloadable for free on line, no bugs or other problems. You can make your photos smaller for uploading to websites, mess with the color, cropping etc etc. No setting up an account on line.

I'm kinda glad this post came up again.

I have posted pics on a post in the Forums just fine using the photobucket copy/paste [IMG] code, but cannot get it to work in the body of a classified. Any tips?

I had problems getting my photo to upload to my very first classified here, yesterday. I had already "resized" the photo to a small, uploadable file (I'm sure "uploadable" is a word in Websters) and it still wouldn't take. I accidently noticed that the file I was trying to upload was a ".bmp" file, or had that extension behind the name of my photo. That means its usually opened with "windows paint". I changed it to a .jpg or .jpeg file extension name and then it took.

I initially changed this ending to .jpg, and have done it before, by right clicking the photo and going into properties and just typing in the .jpg ending where I could. When I opened that same file in Irfan view it "helped" me save it that way and then the file uploaded quickly.

So its either a "size" issue- needs to be down to like 640 by 480 pixels if I am remembering correctly, or is an extension other than .jpg or something???

Sorry boys, size always matters....
