Oh man... Just caught this post. Looks like CC isn't sending us alerts on this thread anymore.

Belt guide on the Scrambler was necessary because of the bell crank in the 2004 and newer Sportsters can contact the belt at full droop. If you're using rear sets it's not a factor (the master is no longer in that position).

Was just trying to scrape money together to order the Stiletto shock, when I stumbled into the build thread for the scrambler and noticed that you guys had that issue with the belt. Is this going to be an issue for sure? Or might I get away without having a problem?

Or maybe.. What would happen if I tryed to use the Cafe Seat, without the shocks. Hrmmm... Looking for an easy way out here I guess
