Stoked to have been selected to be in Micheal Lichters Ton Up Sturgis Exhibition. Bike got picked up a few weeks ago and is getting set up today at hte Buffalo Chip camp ground in Lichters exhibit area. If you're around, swing by and say hello!
Just to show everyone the bike isn't a trailer queen, here's a shot we did right before the bike left.

Looking good.
That would be a nice home for a Buell engine.

I cant even believe how sick this thing is. SO rad!
I picked up a 96' 883 about 2 monthes ago, and have just been driving the shit out of it all summer (did 2 slight alterations, switched out the stock seat and bars), was leaning in more of a "bobber" direction.. but now that i saw this.. damn.
Totally changed my mind! Cafe, all day. I mean.. i already have an ol XS 650 on a hardtail frame.
Whats the deal with that front fairing?

Thanks man. 96 is a good year to work with. Fairing is an Ebay find.
Hit me up if you have any questions when you start the build, happy to help out.

"Cafe" is a lot more usable than bobbing/chobbing/knobbing and much kinder to your spine if you actually put miles on your ride.
Nice tight build.

This bike keeps making me reconsider fairings. I want to find another sporty to do this to.

Was just trying to scrape money together to order the Stiletto shock, when I stumbled into the build thread for the scrambler and noticed that you guys had that issue with the belt. Is this going to be an issue for sure? Or might I get away without having a problem?
Or maybe.. What would happen if I tryed to use the Cafe Seat, without the shocks. Hrmmm... Looking for an easy way out here I guessLast edited by masonburke; 08-13-2013 at 6:34 PM.

Belt guide on the Scrambler was necessary because of the bell crank in the 2004 and newer Sportsters can contact the belt at full droop. If you're using rear sets it's not a factor (the master is no longer in that position).
Hit us up if you have any more questions, we'll keep an eye on this thread.
