    Party like it's 12.22.2012!

Assuming we all survive the Apocalypse, I'm sayin' we celebrate with a ride!

Weather.com says it's gonna be a balmy 50ยบ this Saturday... probably a bit chillier when we get up around 8,000 feet, so wear your wool booties!

You guys ever been to Cactus Jack's?

I've never been there, but it looks like it's smack dab in the middle of the route I've got mapped out in my head. I'm figuring an hour from Morrison to Evergreen via High Grade Road, stop for lunch and then decide if we want to keep going for another hour or so up to Lookout Mountain then back down to Red Rocks.

It's snowing out my window right now... something about "blizzard conditions" , but Thurs & Friday should be sunny, so I'm guessing it'll all melt by the weekend. So we'll just have to deal with water run-off & the lovely sand/silt in the middle of the lane... but that's the fun of winter riding, right? :-O

Yeah, I've been there many times. Good red chili, jalapeno poppers, wings, etc

Excellent. It was the Chili I saw on the menu that made me want to check that place out.

How's it up there in Denver? Lotta snow?
It's starting to pile up down here... ran off the road once, slid completely sideways into oncoming traffic and ran up a curb. All before lunch and all I wanted was a can of soup! HAHA!

Thankfully, Armageddon on Friday should take care of most of the snow.

                    Dance your cares away,
                    Worry's for another day.
                    Let the music play,
                    Down at Castle Rock.

Sorry... guess I'm showing my age there

If my chop was so low to the ground to not worry that'd it fall over, I'd be messing around in the snow, too! Gonna throw down salt near my garage after work to ensure I can get it out tomorrow.

Xbmxx, where are you located in Arvada? I'm near 62nd and wadsworth. Always good to see other chop cult members in the local area

That's the exact reason I took the Chop out yesterday instead of the other bikes. At slow speeds, she'll "bottom out" and use the exhaust as outriggers before she'll lay down.
