    Default Nash internal throttle

I finally got my internal sticky throttle from Nash. I did not receive any instructions on how to install it, I cannot find anything on the web either.

Does anyone know where I can get installation instructions????

Contact them. Maybe they'll send you a directions sheet. They tell you to call but don't list a phone number on their site. That tells me something - they don't really want you to call.

    Here's a contact link-

    Good luck man.

Maybe try posting the parts that you have, and someone might be able to figure it out?

Yeah post a photo or two.

Not sure about the Nash throttle, But most Internal throttles require that you cut off a portion
of the handle bar, since only a small portion of the throttle housing slips inside the handlebars.

& usually a hole is drilled on the underside of the Bars, & A screw goes through this hole & threads
into a threaded hole on the throttle. & the cable attachment is usually 1 or 2 set screws that secure
the end of the cable. Also, if you have to cut the cable due to it being to long, you would need to tin the end,

The throttle is an excellent piece. The directions I had got with mine were wrong as far as how much cable core to leave exposed per carb. I think (if I remember) I left 5 1/4" for an S&S. That's pretty much the directions included with mine. If I can dig them up, I post them here.

I have had mine on my bike for two years, when I went too fit it I had to make a sleeve to go over the wedge clamp as it just floped around inside the bar and I just made my own cable up to suit my mikuni.

    Here youi guys. http://www.sevensinschoppers.com/v/v...ash-sticky.pdf

Be careful with the crush sleeves. I fucked a cable by clamping the crush so much after adjusting a few times that it went through and frayed it. Now I'm using a home made crush sleeve cos they only sent me one.

Thanks for all the help. I took it apart, I understand how it works now.

    thanks for sending the instructions.

The problem I have now is with my bars. I bought a new set of Biltwell 12" apes. The walls are too thick, I need to thin them out. Is there a tool made to make this easy?

I had this issue too. I used a round file. I'm sure you could use a little dremmal tool/drill. Or a machine shop would do it for a fee. But yeah, just be careful you don't take too much off as the sticky wedge won't take and you'll need to modify the sleeve.

Why support some losers who are too lazy to even throw in an instruction sheet?

^^ really? Maybe because it is made in the USA. Nash 225...posh 400+ and made over seas. Really tough to decide on that one. Nash quality great, service sucks. If you dont want to support nash then there is always exile.
