ok this is the title because I sometimes (ok, Started playing weekends mostly) Heroclix and its a nerdy type of game with comic book heroes. I dont look your typical person walking into a comic book store and look very out of place after I ride in on the bike.

My question is do you all do anything like this? Or feel out of place doing certain things you enjoy?

this is actually one of my favorite characters with ghost rider




like I said i was just curious if anyone else plays this game or does something they consider "Geeky", "Nerdy" and look out of place.

I may know star wars more than most humans, watch joss wheadon series, and even long to go to comic con to see live girls in leia metal bikinis, but this is the reason I don't own a pc.

I'm fairly un-nerdy in person but I really enjoy some nerdy things. Never played that though. I DID however just finish episode 3 of The Walking Dead video game, which is pretty awesome.

I get the urge to buy Comic Books every few years. Once I do, I'm crazy hardcore about it, finding out what the short runs were recently and trying to find all of the back issues. Or I'll grab a "Wizard" and see what "One -offs" came out in the past year and try to scoop them all up. It's sort of like a treasure hunt, hahahaha.

I've got around (I guess) 700 Comics that I've been dragging around for years. They're mostly all in plastic with cardboard backing. Most from when I was a pre-teen/teen and about 100 that re from the last ten years.

I've got a BUNCH of TMNT from before they got stupid. Onces with them swearing and shit, hahaha.

I also have the first bunch of Punisher War Journals, as well as a shit ton of GI Joe and Transformers from when I was a kid.

I also have the first few dozen of the Wolverine comic when that started up, as well as the first bunch of "Ultimate Spiderman".....

Now I want to go and buy comics.

Yeah, every once in a while I get in a big yank to go back to the comic store and try and find some cool 60's or 70's Marvel comics. Usually #1's or first appearances. That gets expensive though.

some dude put up his star wars collection and picked up a 113 ci evo rigid out this way. surprised me since most people in my area are hard core from mexico with the "Mexico's better attitude, they wish they were there" mentality.
