I find that this thread just makes me jealous and angry, there is simpley not enough hours in the day, and money in my pocket to create machines such as these
doesnt help when i like 2,3, hell 6 different versions of the same part of a bike ive seen, im like damn i should make a set of bars (air cleaner, fender, pipes, headlight, yadda yadda ) like that, no that set, definetly that set, the next set is always as perfect as the last ive seen
thanks for making my winter that much more confusingComment

I went to Sasebo and Yokosuka, Japan back in 94. Japan has some crazy traffic. Yet you see plenty of these bikes without front brakes, rear drums, and jockey shifts being ridden around hard. You really can't beat the look and I guess the Japanese have figured out how to ride accordingly. BTW, love those high foot boards! More pics please.Comment

anyone else notice the case chopped sportster with a 4 speed tranny?
I do and have liked the Japanese builds. Very hotrod like, just how I like em'. Not a lot of bought frames with afterarket shit bolted on. Mostly stock hd with a little massaging and just plain cool ideas.
Not to take anything away from the rest of the world, especially my US friends here. Seems like the US stays linked to the lame ass OCC and beach ball back tire trend of the years past. Not fair though, seen quite a few bad ass hotrod ridable chops in the past few years. Mostly out of the riders garage too.
I think thats what gives these bikes their soul. They're bad ass, dirty, fast, and you know they get the shit ridden out of them!Comment

Sorry I've been slacking guys. I've actually been working on my bike like a maniac, lol. I rebuilt the engine from the inside out, was supposed to be a "running bike", haha. I finally took it out for its maiden voyage yesterday. Still some issues to sort out like an oil leak around a push rod cover, the shifter slipping causing sketchy downshifts, and a couple of other little things.
I'll get back on this thread soon, plenty more pics in the library.Comment
