Ive got this brass bankruptcy of a bike ive been working on for the past 8 months, and turns out i have to re-work the mid mounts, so i thought some of you who've been down this road before could share your awesome work, and gimme a few ideas. i wont poach anyone's designs, just lookin for inspiration!
I have a T100R in a factory metal works rigid frame, trying to figure out where to mount the factory metal works footpeg mounts.

nothing to offer, but I'm in the exact same boat - I'm still undecided about running mids at all - but it sure would be nice to keep the original engine mounts - so I'm also going custom:

Heres how I did my pegs with 5/8" round stock. Heated the round stock up and bent it in a vise, drilled 5/8" hole in stock swing arm plate, cut a small plate out of 1"x3/16" flat stock and drilled for a 1/4" bolt to hold the peg from pivoting. Drilled the 1" plate with 5/8" hole and slid the 5/8" round through it and the swing arm plate and then welded the 5/8" round to the 1" flat plate. Drilled and tapped the back side of the 5/8" so I could bolt it from the back side through the stock swing arm plate. It's easier than I made it sound and I think it looks pretty good.

Here's a few pics from a bit further back.

I used the stock position, sawed off the stock pegs, welded pivots and mounted folding pegs.

I had to repin them and rotate them up a bit since this pic, they were just too low and scraped the ground on corners.

you had picked up the 650 triumph footpeg set up off of us to mount on your 500 i remember you calling saying you wanted to do this ....its a pain in the ass! we did this once on butchs bike and what we did was come off of the bottom rail with tubing and attached the 3 hole pattern from the motor plates to the tubing with gussets...and welded a brake bung to that for the brake pedal...so basically all you are using of the motor mount is the part the peg attachs to... give me a call and i will explain better how to do it ok
