    Default Battery issue

    So my drunk/retarded ass left my bike on with the lights on..and the damn thing is drained..put it on the trickle and the battery is taking a charge...i dont have a battery charger..can I jump the bike with a car..i heard if you do don't turn the car on...and do you think the bike will charge itself afterwards

    Should be okay. Obviously make sure both systems are 12V and that the cables are connected to the proper terminals. There's really no straight answer on this, as everyone seems to have a different perspective. I've jumped my bikes with cars and had no problems as of yet. I stick to the same rule: not starting the donor vehicle unless its another motorcycle. Also your charging system WILL still work, in fact, you should only "jump" long enough for your bike to start, then let your bike's charging system do the rest. Of course if you have a trickle charger and some patience, problem solved. Jumping should only be done in emergencies.
