Tweeker Transaction

I got a lead on a springer today from a guy I know. All I had was a name and phone number so I gave it a shot. This was my first transaction with an honest to goodness "tweeker"...picked this up for $100 and kicked myself because I think $40 and a bag of skittles would have gotten the deal done.

I think it would be fun to share interesting parts acquisition stories. I know you So-Cal boys have 10 kick ass swap meets every weekend, but the rest of us in Middle America can't buy Springers like we are buying loaves of bread. Ya dig?

@Hooligan...for sure. It's not ready to run by any means, but for $100 I couldn't pass. @Arby I asked no questions! I was ready to haul ass back to civilization!

Did you put that dual rotor wheel on there and install PEX tubing "drag bars" so you could push that front end around the yard making "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMM" sound effects with your mouth?

I just got a running 1982 Kawi KZ100 Spectre for $300 from some tweekers. Hillbillies on the porches of their trailers, fucked up dogs all over, and a pregnant kid were there when I showed up. I only asked if it was stolen and had a clean title!! I got the F outta there and to the DMV as fast as I could!!!
