sportster DEWIRE help

im wanting to do a push button start and get rid of my control pods. i just want the minimum, hi lo beam up front, rear brake light, and thats it!

anyone have any tips or a diagram on how to do this?

I started one too, but it seems to cause more confusion than help. Get a factory diagram for YOUR YEAR AND MODEL. Go from there. Where people always get hung up is the ignition module.

Note from diagram artist:
"Oh yeah, Regulator has 1 wire that goes to + on the battery or use the same hot wire connection at starter. The other 2 are the plug that goes to stator connection. "



Also: "If you are running a front brake, use a banjo switch at the master cylinder for it to, will require 1 extra hot wire to it and the other of course to the stop. They will not backfeed each other and that way front or back brake mc will trigger your stop light. "
