Same for me. I drive classic cars. They break down from time to time. Every time I have pulled to the side of the road I get a cop pulling behind me, running my plate, telling me to move the vehicle or I get a ticket.
My very good friend's Uncle is/was a chief of police, a very "infamous" one now here locally in CA. I have heard stories to make me never trust a cop. Plus being a legal medical patient provider, why would I trust a cop? I have had very bad experiences with them in the past do to some family crap out of my control, unfortunately.
There are good cops, but most of them are perpetuating the police state mentality. Abusing their power when they can. When those who "serve and protect" are feared by a majority, they become a liability.
In short, police are now revenue collectors. Nothing more.
