The Wild Ride - Sept. 8-9th 2012 - Minnesota

Straight outta Minnesota, Speed Club presents the Wild Ride.
After some consideration and encouragement from friends, we’ve decided to put this ride on for any and all who can make it. Sponsors of all kinds are stepping up every day with great representation from coast to coast. If you’re interested in being a sponsor please email [email protected]

We’re still ironing out some specifics for the trip but here are initial details.
- Saturday, September 8th to Sunday, September 9th.
- Registration at 8am to hit the road by 9am.
- Stopping for lunch along the way.
- This ride is 100% FREE to all.
- Ride is open to anybody in the area.
- Approximately 350 miles round trip.
- Your only option is camping out.
- Fire pit at dark to give out all the raffle prizes.
- NO BIKE LEFT BEHIND – CHASE TRUCK AND TRAILER PROVIDED!
This ride is all about getting together with friends (old and new) for the love of bikes, riding, and good times. Ill post updates including route, registration, sponsorship and other details as September approaches on the website.

I really want to make this ride. I am coming from Sioux City with a fresh motor in my recently finished bike. I'd like to get into MN the night before. Anyone from the area got a place for me and my brother to crash? I'm hauling the bike up in the back of my truck because, well, its a new motor, its not broke in yet at all....what better way to break it in then on this ride, right?! I am willing to offer up my truck as an additional chase vehicle and my bro can drive it if need be.

If nobody can help us out, maybe we can find somewhere cheap to stay that night, it'd be split 3 ways so I can't image it would be terribly expensive. I am not sure if there are any campgrounds nearby? misery loves company, right?

I'm thinking about having a little get together the night before at my "commune". I've got three acres to pitch a tent. I'm south and east of the cities about 20 minutes. The wife said she'd cook up some cream can for anyone who shows up.

Ok this ride was a fuckin blast. Met lots of solid dudes, and one guy who was kind of a douchebag, got rained on, saw some strippers with weird boobs.
