My CB450+Amen Savior project

Been a while since I posted anything anywhere. Life does tend to get in the way? I've had this Amen Savior frame and extended fork tubes for a while and an excellent donor bike (1972 CB450). I've put together this little mock-up to get the juices flowing.

Things I'd like to run on this bike:

- Short sissy bar
- Small King & Queen seat
- Rabbit ear bars
- 16'' rim laced to CB hub
- Firestone rear tire
- Some tasty flake

The stupidly small tank may stay?
Oooooor, I may cast a scaled-down Wassell Style tank in aluminum?

The smal tank makes the engine look enormous - just like shaving your pubes makes your dick look bigger. Try it.

Looks badass with that tiny tank. I've been eyeing a 1/2 gal tank similar to that from an 80cc wizzer/moped kit to throw on my 550 project.

The CB450 does 45 mpg. So, if the gas station is less than 22,5 miles away, then the answer is yes.

Its funny how things work...
I just not more than 12 hours ago was given a Honda CB350 which is dam close to yours...
I have been lurking the net trying to find some photos of bikes with a style that i could stare at...
all i found were cafe bikes which i know serve a purpose.... but im not to into.....
but then i see this thread.... and this little gem
and i totally dig the stance of your bike.....
But the old.... "if it were mine" ....i would run a P-Nut tank from LOWBROW on that....
cool scoot....

Re Juices...

Well, you certainly got MY juices flowing! I just finished up a Honda CB 750 in a Saviour frame. Your 450 twin will be cool as all hell!

I dig that frame. Stance looks nice. I'm not into the tiny tank thing, but then I get pissed if I have to make fuel stops any less than 100mi. apart. I love the skinny wheels/tires. With those bars, it kind of has a lowrider bicycle feel to it. Real cool.

Try the FOR SALE / TRADE section over at www.hondachopper.com Every once in a while an Amen pops up there. Dunno of any reproductions though, sorry.
Sorry 'bout the hijack.

x-cellent! Great idea. Lose the front fender keep the tank idea but maybe make one a bit bigger like they did on some of the 60's triumphs only a little bigger maybe 1 gallon total. It kinda reminds me of this bike.

It would be really cool if you could narrow the frame a couple inches too, it would make the coolest little splitter on the planet
