A bikini top is ok just as long as the doors off otherwise you're getting the bird. Now I got a 1st gen 4runner and I'm looking for 7/16 linchpins for the hinges and a big ass sunroof, I miss the no top no doors, but I'll take the bike first if it's an option.

I'd still feel like an idiot or I was trying to hard if I was waving from my truck at a biker going by. If his ride is kick ass a thumbs up is in order.

No matter where you go, there you are.
i've had a few cj's an 84 and 86...it's funny too, i had my 86 in 90 and it was still the round headlight so the square headlight jeeps were still relatively new . from what i was told by fellow jeep enthusiast at the time i wasn't suppose to wave to or back to the square headlight jeeps...i guess the logic was since jeeps up to that point had round headlights the newer body style with square headlight weren't "real" jeeps...lol

jeeps are cool, but the really cool one's like the old style don't really have the amenities newer vehicles have and here in the north east anyways the frames rot out like a motherfucker. really no place around here to take them off roading anymore either, it's a shame cause that's where they really shine

Meh... My CJ was a 55, my YJ was a 90 and just after 95 coil sprung Jeeps weren't real Jeeps. Mechanically the 1st gen Wranglers were almost identical to the CJ7's. To me as long as the top and doors come off its a real Jeep, but the newer Unlimiteds are pushing that, too damn big for some trails, my 4Runner would do better.

fuckin yuppies buy new jeeps, we buy em after they turn them in from their leases and pay for the parking lot dings lol. I usually buy mine after the 3rd or 4th guy puts it in his back yard and forgets about it. long story short i dont wave to yuppies. and if youre waving at a bike from your car youre trying pretty hard.

The only time a cager waved tome was when my vulcan went up in a ball of flames and was breathing fire between my legs.

I dont want cagers waving at me. they have a hard enough time operating their volvos and priuses with 2 hands much less one hand while looking away.

anyway this thread has free miles written all over it
