Finally settled into my new shop in Temecula, Calif. This is the first full job to come out of it. I am very happy with it! Gloss black, heavy metal flake panels and hand pinstriping is not the easiest combo to pull off!!! Enjoy!

thanks fellas!
yeah she is gonna be lowered for sure but the motor is the original straight 6 that was rebuilt about 4 yrs ago. She runs strong and doesn't smoke a bit. Maybe a quarter size spot of oil under it after running it all around so I think I will stick to stock for now!

Nice work and great to hear that you made the C-bus to Temecula trek safely and are settling into the new shop.
I have a tech question for ya... awhile ago you mentioned that you purchased a new spray gun. I've been using a couple of Devilbis Finish Line guns for years... I like them but for some work they just seem a little too big. And I use a small knock-off touch-up gun that seems a little too small for some work. The gun you purchased (and I'm stumped trying to remember it) seemed like a nice size between a full-size and a touch-up. What was that make/model... I'm looking to make a change?

Nice paint! And I dig that truck, I drive a '59 myself, I have the original 292 and if its still running strong there is no need to fuck it up by putting a belly button Chevy in it. Put a Jag XJ6 front end under it and drive the hell out of it.

hey thanks man! I use a sata minijet 4 with 1.2 tip to shoot all my clear. No need for a big gun on small parts! I like it and although I have never used anything to compare it to, other than run of the mill guns, I think it is one of the best mini's out there along with the Iwata LPH400 (i think is the model).
thanks again for everyone else who commented! I am diggin the hell outta the old truck!
