Would boiling water work ??

trying to get these off without breaking anything,, thought pouring boiling water over them might help ?

Torch and a mallet. Keep alternating the two. Always seems to do the trick for me.

Ya, some kind of flame. I don't think boiling water will get it hot enough, for long enough, to get it to expand and contract.

Now that's a rare problem! Usually, those spigots just like to shoot out all on their own.

I'd try hitting them with the torch as mentioned and try to rotate the pipe off the spigot.
