I don't know dude. There's a bunch of stuff I wanna buy. Cleaning the engine is gonna suck too. I'm gonna get one of those bench top belt sanders tomorrow.

So I got rid of that triple backbone that was stock on the bike. Used some 1.5" DOM tube and attached it to the original backbone.

Also got some 1.25" .120 wall tube and bent it for my hard tail. Hopefully I can start on that tomorrow

Sorry it been a while since I updated. Here's where I'm today. The tubes won't be so long out back. Gotta trim them still

Bad cell phone pics

Got some welding finished up and the welder was feeding funny so i screwed up a couple welds, ill grind them down. started putting the top tubes in place.

Thunderhead1990, I'm not familiar with your frame so I don't have much advice for you. I am sorry

Well it's far from perfect but it's solid. I'm happy with it especially being my first build.

overall it looks good dude. one question though, on those radiused down tubes, are they just butted up to the other tubes with no sleeve? if they are i would slice a larger tube and wrap the butts. for any kind of structural integrity, butt welding tubes together is a very bad idea with no sleeve.

I guarantee it is plenty strong enough especially the way it's sandwiched vertically in the frame, half of the frame on my SBC powered body dropped Chevy luv was butt welded and and that seen much more abuse than this frame will ever see and it held up great.

Buuutttt..... I do have a plan for this the reinforce the tubes. Just haven't gotten that far yet.

Found some handlebars on eBay that a guy makes, these are pretty sweet. I may make them an inch taller and wider.

No other progress since I have been busy for a while

Well, still no work done on my bike. Lost my Job about 3 weeks ago and can't afford to fill my bottle for the welder, but.... I went to my uncles shop today and was showing him pics of my bike and he said he had a frame I could have. So I got a set of forks that are 4" longer and this frame for free! Now I just gotta decide if I wanna finish my frame or use this one. What do you guys think.

Cut the other frame in a few pieces, I'm keeping it but made I'd fit in the corner of the garage better. Did about 10 minutes of work on it today

This frame should be much nicer

Got a basic mock up done. Need some parts and need to do some machining. Fork airs up a few inches as well. Need to score some triples from a sohc.

That drop seat bike on page one is revolting.

Your build is coming along great. I like the new frame, and the direction you are headed with it.
