besides.... a sportster never can be a bobber! I mean a real one.... what is a bobber. an old 40-50 like bike with its front fender mounted to the rear. the fenders hab "bobbers" so thats why they called bobbers. It was a solution to get the bikes lighter, with no money spend.

if you want to say "a nice cool bike" just say it and don't give em names like bobber, chopper or even bratstyle! its a bike..
I think custom would be the correct term to describe the two bikes I posted, although they have both been chopped on. I know what a bobber is, just figured the op didn't based on being new to the motorbike world and when asking to see "bobbers" but wanted to see customs/choppers.

Bratstyle is a company that builds bikes that all have a certain look. I guess it could be argued that from the popularity of Bratstyle the company has now actually turned into a legit style of bike to be called bratstyle. It used to slightly annoy me when I would hear "I got a brat style sporty yo". Oh really? How did you manage to import that from Japan? "Huh?" Now, any build with a ton of bolt ons, weird tank, no fab work, and chopped off fender struts is brat style. And I guess I can live with that, although not what i would do, lol.

Another shot of the second bike I posted. I never get tired of checking this one out. I think the clean bars are my favorite. Such a good look!

Earlier shot with a different paint job on the first bike I posted. I definitely like the second version better.

^ 2nd that. That's a cool ass shovel! I really like the rear exhaust. Works good with the magneto and the oem tank minus the oem oil tank. That's good thinking

I'd love to do a swing arm shovel some day. Until then here's a pic of my sportster.

That's kick ass too man! Forget a shovel, for a short chop swinger I think you have the best platform. Evo sporty, Running hard til the cows come home with lil maintenance. Shovies are cool, but we're looking at 12" lowering shocks on a panhead/early shov swing arm. And those swing arms are grip! They're almost to low. And I figure with that shock to get the ride height that the stroke length is probably out of whack. Like too low and too much stroke ...able to drag frame..not a good idea.

BTW We Americans do build the best American bikes . FORTHEWIN!! Media just chooses to display the worst possible 300 series beach ball back tire chop they can find. Whoooop whooot!!! haha
