I prefer function over form. Though the knobbys look cool, their performance on blacktop is compromised compared to regular tires. I'm not going to ride anything that "looks" cool but handles like shit.

It's the ATGATT police! Whoop Whoop! 3-Adam-7 to Dispatch, we got an unruly biker here. He seems to have both front and rear brakes, turn signals, covered primary, and a SNELL 2000 helmet. Riders jacket is neon ballistic nylon, looks suspicious. Gonna run a NICS check. 3-Adam-7 out.

I ran dirt bike tires on my sporty a few winters back so I could get my bike out of the driveway...was awesome! I didint spend hours on the highway so heat and weight and all that wasnt a big deal, but for hoppin around it worked just fine.

    Here is my boys bike...

FML! Welcome to my reality, next thing you know DOD will require us (guys in the military) to have to wear not only an approved helmet but a full faced one, seat belts, warning strobes and paint our bikes gay-glow neon. I'm actually considering relacing up my rear so I can at least run dual sport tires (lost void not knobby) even if they're rated 90/10 (street/dirt) I think they'd look better than what I'm running right now but its a difficult call since I end up riding a crap ton on the concrete slabs more then the twisty fun stuff I'd rather be riding.

I've ridden my bike with this dual sport tire for over a year. I'll never understand the "function over form" guys on a CHOPPER website. Knobby tires are the last thing I worry about when riding my 39 year old Ironhead down the road!!!

the trailwing that everyone is using for the 23'ers was a OEM dual-sport tire on the old Honda dual sport bikes. It is DOT approved and my bike handles as well as any other rigid framed, mismatched part, use-what-you-got, heap of a motorcycle anyway.....

I have one on my iron because I didn't have any other 21s hanging around. Not a bad ride unless you are turning kinda fast and you hit those metal dividers between concrete exit ramps. You get the ol slip

The OP didn't ask for your opinion, nor your 2 fuckin cents.

The OP asked for pics of bikes with knobbies. Read before posting and you won't get smart ass responses to your "thoughts."

    Back on topic bitches:

thanks to the guys who posted pics and i just remembered there's a bunch of dudes who have a lot to say but nothing to show on this forum aka haters. the thread asked for pics, not for your opinion. I know we are all entitled to our opinion but if you want to be a dick and ruin my thread. i can be a hater too.

    speaking of hideous....

and you're saying a bike like this is hideous?

you're probably one of those trend dick riding faggots who brags about "i ride a 70's survivor chopper man!!" reality check homie, just because it's the hot ticket right now, not everything from the 70's is cool.

even though so cal is the mecca of customs, choppers, etc. you still got douches like this. so cal fashion bikers who care more about their hair, their tattoos, their clothes, their flipped up bills, rather than the machine they actually ride. where i come from we got a word for that, it's called POSER. I've said it before and I'll say it again. LESS SCENE MORE MACHINE. Try to live by that.

Way to stand up for your thread, BobbErik. There are plenty of "Opinion" threads where people can put in there .20 cents! Keeping on topic...here's another picture of my "hideous" ride:

Don't let the haters get you down...especially an ass clown.
