    Default battery in seat?

so I'm trying to clear out that space under the seat on my shovel i just got the oil tank finished and mounted in front of my motor and not I'm trying to decide on what to do with my battery.
I'm planning on building a king and queen seat and got the idea of mounting it in the hump. so before i take action and do something I'm gonna regret i thought id ask some opinions on the idea.
i would build a door into the side for removal and run the cables thru the bottom, I'm just not sure about securing it or if that would make the hump too big. my bike still has a swing arm btw

just get a smaller battery, make a strap to go over it that bolts to the fender, run your wires, put your seat on, boom. done.

hell i was just talking about a little pop off shit in the side of the hump....maybe your onto something talking about strapping it to the fender though. if i mount it and cut a hole in my seat so it just droops over it that would be relatively easy hmmmm

yep yep. get a flat metal strip and bend it to fit over the battery then flat on the ends, drill your holes and bolt it. that bitch wont go anywhere then.

I was going to do that. I don't know if this helps, but here is what I ended up doing.

Kick only, in a rigid, under a Baker 6 into 4 speed.

    HOLY COW>
Is that all the battery you need for a kick only?
    Where'd you get it?
    What'dja give for it?
Just curious cuz I hate how much my battery cost considering all I'm running is a headlight taillight, electronic ignition.

    http://motydesign.com/product.php?ba...4-cell-battery

I contacted them, told them what I was running (stock shovelhead, 12v headlight, and an LED tail light, and electronic ignition) and they said all I would need is the 4 cell. I have read about guys turning over electric start 750cc jap bikes with the 4 cell battery as well though. A bit pricey but they come fully charged with a nice quick disconnect. Plus its light as fuck!

Less than a standard HD battery and way cooler.
    I dig it a lot.
    Thanks for the link!
