It is not that simple. If your bike is 6V, then everything on it is 6V. Depending on what bike you have, and how it's set up, you'll certainly have to change out the headlight (or at least switch the internals to 12V), your ignition system is obviously 6V, not sure if that'll be able to handle a 12V load....I'm certain someone who's done it will come along, but do NOT just throw a 12V battery in there and call it good.
