This dood ripped me off in the Classifieds. I sent him money for a part he was selling. He never sent it and of course won't reply back. I sent PMs to a few other users who sent him money for other listings and they said he never replied or sent the goods after they sent him money.

i don't know where to report this, but admins, please ban this guy.

Did you check aroud to see if the dude was fairly legit before send some scratch? Have you tried to communicate with him? Email? PM's?

Dude signed up less than 2 months ago, no info on his profile, I can't find any posts from this cat, and you send him foldin' money?

He responded back to my first message when I asked him why the air cleaner hadn't arrived. He said he had system issues and it's on it's way. I sent him some money on May 21st and it still hasn't arrived and he's stopped replying to my messages.

I probably should have vetted him a little more and that's on me. I'm just letting others know because I'm not the only one here he ripped off.

About a hundred bucks. Like I said, I was stupid for sending it without checking his history, but I was in a hurry and got careless.

Did you send it thru Paypal? IF you sent it NOT as a gift, you can get your money back. If you sent it as a gift, you're screwed.

Never ever ever send paypal as a gift. The 3% is ALWAYS good insurance, unless youve dealt with the man on multiple occasions. Gifting puts you up shits creek with a turd for a paddle if shit goes south....

I wasn't aware about the gift scenario. Good to know now.

I already sent a resolution center message to PayPal. According to their email, they'll send the dispute over the RustyNutz. If he doesn't reply in an allotted time, then I have to make a different type of claim and PayPal will make the decision on their own.

Lesson learned. But for future buys, don't buy from this guy. He should be banned just in case. I've bought a number of parts through the classifieds and have always had good transactions until now.

Just a heads up.... When paypal tells you "we can't help you because it was a gift". Tell them that he insisted that you do so. It's against their TOS to request money be sent as a gift or to add 3% for paypal payments.

Labdude. just look at their profile, make sure they are active and posting. If they don't have any activity I would shy away... You can also search for users under the search function...

I believe there is a thread on the main forms called THE SHIT LIST you got problems with someone make sure they are legit or you're gonna get flamed.
