Sparto style limp dick tail light mod

I added a real glass King Bee glass lens (threw the shitty plasitc one away) made a new bezel with two screws on either side to hold inthe lens polished it out

then I cut off the plate mount on it and took 1/2 inch off from around the bottom of the light

then just did a radius on the bottom the match my rear fender came out pretty good only took 1 1/2 hours

I like it much better than the stock lens. How is visibility at night? One of the few things I don't like about the Sparto is the lack of lens visible from the side. I know it's a wierd thing to be concerned about on a chopper site but I've had too many car drivers get too close on a dark night.

it's bright! with the glass lens it shows up nice at night I'll take a pic tonight and post it for you

and I understand about stupid drivers not seeing you I was in a nasty wreck little over a month ago on my vintage suzuki (small 2-stroke 80 cc) because they "didn't see me" assholes I made eye contact....ayways

plus, with that King Bee lens its almost a inch longer so sticks out quite abit and can be seen from the sides pretty well

That looks awesome man, nice and clean.

Nothing wrong with a little more lighting at all either, MTW! All kinds of ways to integrate LEDs and whatever into choppers too
