Hey irishmike how's the riding weather out there?
I've probable asked this once before. I'm in SoCal and I'm trying to move to so where's around the Austin area. My wife's got family in Houston, only been there once but I've been in the water utility's feild for almost 10 years now. Austen's got more opertunity for me.
Anyways I've seen that your from riverside, how's it comparable out there vs here. Better? Worse?

Well, we get a few months that are awesome. But the summers can kick your ass with the humidity. The winters aren't too bad. Right now it's pretty damn cold, and has been for a couple weeks. It should start to warm up in a couple more, and aside from the occasional rain, it should be pretty good until mid June.

Sunday a few of us are gonna be riding down to the boardwalk in Kimah. We're meeting at Lola's at 10am (1102 Yale St. Houston, TX. 77008) for breakfast, then it's off to the boardwalk. The weather is supposed to be good so if you're looking for something to do, this would be a great option.

I'm staying in Katy right now, working in Rosenberg. I brought a bike with me but it's a couple of Sunday afternoons away from being ready for the road. Had to go home this weekend but I plan on getting to it next Sunday. If I get started early I might can have it done in a day.
