Beat me to it. I find the history of the Masons interesting and have had a few guys I know that were Masons. One guy that worked for me that was a Mason was borderline retarded, and I found out later a part of The Klan. No joke. It kind of put me off of it, but talking to my good friends grandpa before he died about it piqued my interest again.

I liked some of what I read (The main site) But the two lodges I have heard about in my area one looks abandoned and one I cant even find. no email replys, Ive talked more to a few masons on a Defensive Carry forum more then I have in person.

not much else in my area really o.0

i know my grand dad was and my dad is. i have thought about becoming one.

Not the case at all, actually. Most muslims are very peaceful people, but as with any religion there are violent extremists, and they reproduce and raise more violent extremists. There is a lot of content in the bible that condones horrible acts of violence as well, but only people who are too inbred to think for themselves take those things for face-value.

Organized religion always seemed dangerous to me. A person can be reasonable. People as a group are stubborn, un-trustworthy, and violent.
